Honoring Constitution Day at Paroba College
On September 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed at the Philadelphia Convention. In 2004, this day became a federal holiday that we recognize as Constitution Day.
In 2005, the Department of Education mandated that all schools and colleges – even those teaching technical training, such as cosmetology schools – should offer education on the Constitution on or around September 17th of each year.
There are many excellent resources available to teach you about the Constitution of the United States. Links to these resources are included below.
- To read the Constitution in its entirety, try the Interactive Constitution provided by the National Constitution Center.
- For an excellent video presentation on the Constitutional Convention, hosted by Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, visit the Constitution Hall Pass.
- To read about the Bill of Rights, see the National Archive.
