For example until more local affiliates launched cable systems in the northeast continued to used wsbk and wpix as their initial source of upn and wb programming. The definition of superstation (by the fcc) only allows all of the current stations as true superstations, wpix, wwor, wsbk, kwgn, and ktla carried by dbs nationwide.
